What is Passport?
A Passport is an travel document, issued by government, Passport identity and nationality of its holder primarily for the purpose of international tour.
A passport contains following information:
- Holders name
- Place and date of birth
- Photograph
- Signature
Mainly 3 documents are must for passport process:
- Birth certificate
- 10th mark sheet
- Address proof
There are three types of Indian passport which are:
Regular Passport
Regular Passport has a dark blue cover and it is issued to ordinary travel
Diplomatic Passport
Diplomatic passport has a maroon cover and it is issued to Indian diplomatic top ranking government officers
Official Passport
Official passport has a white cover and it is issued to individual who represent the Indian government on official business
How I can apply for passport?
1. You can apply your passport through online application where you have to submit your all required document and get appointment for personal appearance.
2. Applicants can directly sent necessary documents to VISASKART via mail or whatsapp.
Time taken for passport:
If everything is fine at the time of appointment then within 4-5 working days you will be notified by SMS/E-mail that saying your application is ready for police verification.
